As a Binghamton wedding photographer I know there are a lot of beautiful venue options in the Broome county area!

As someone that has looked for venues myself I know the struggle of looking through all the different options and figuring out the basic things you need to know. I decided to make this resource in hopes it would help compile a variety of different places in one area for an easy reference! I included places that are able to host both the ceremony and reception for ease. I included how many people can be accommodated, what city they are located in, whether food is done in house or if you can bring an outside vendor, direct links for you to wedding information on their site, and small descriptions to give you an idea of the space.

  • Traditions Hotel and Spa : Johnson City, New York. Indoors and outdoors. A local institution steeped in history that within the last few years celebrated it’s 100 year anniversary. This is an amazing option for a multitude of reasons. The grounds boast a golf course for entertainment for your guests as well as a spa to pamper and relax all weekend long. 41 guest room accommodations are available. An outside tented reception is available as well as an indoor option to accommodate year round weddings. Up to 300 guests. Food and bar in house.

  • Binghamton Club : Binghamton, New York. All indoors. A timeless venue with beautiful arched high ceilings, gorgeous neutral drapery to accommodate any color scheme and so many available in house options (like a photo booth!) which helps ease the stress of locating numerous vendors!  Up to 220 guests. Food and bar in house.

  • Terra Cotta Room : Owego, New York. A newer event space by a well established caterer, ensuring great food and experienced staff. The event space has a beautiful outdoor space on site with a gazebo before you head inside for the reception. Multiple rooms are available to accommodate varying sizes and prices. Hotel rooms blocked off for ease and comfort. Up to 300 people. Food and bar in house.

  • Reflections at Tioga Gardens : Owego, New York. Beautifully manicured landscaping with gardens and fountains. a large covered pavilion for reception to give the feel of still being outside with the protection from the elements. Up to 160 guests. You are able to select your own caterer, they have a suggested list of vendors to help you with that decision.
  • The McKinley : Endicott, New York. A huge 10,000 square foot facility that can host up to 700 people, so size would never be an issue here! The huge dance floor and 25 foot high ceilings give it a high class feel with the space set up in a way to still make it feel appropriately intimate and have a great time. Up to 700 people. Food and bar in house.

  • The Roberson Museum: Binghamton. For the art inclined the Roberson Museum is a unique venue with varying options for where to have your ceremony and reception. Most popular spaces are the mansion for ceremony and the ballroom for reception. There is no kitchen on site so catering will have to be prepared and then brought in.

  • The Venue at Beagells Farms : Port Crane, New York. You get exclusivity when you book this venue! Your event will be the only one for the entire weekend, ensuring you have the time you need to setup and take down. A tented reception area is included as well as all the chairs, tables, and dance floor; so you have less moving parts and rentals to worry about. Up to 200 guests although the option to upgrade with more tent sections to accomodate larger groups. You can bring your own preferred caterer, although they are more than happy to make suggestions.
  • Mountaintop View + Grove: Broome County. Both locations boast beautiful views as well as being able to accommodate a large amount of guests, 250 and 300 respecitively. You’ll be surrounded with trees in a secluded area to enjoy with the company of your loved ones. Mountaintop is known for their clambakes but they offer great food to please even the less seafood oriented guest.

  • The Kilmer Mansion : Binghamton, New York. Built in 1898, the mansion was refurbished to maintain the beautiful details and integrity of the mansion. A reception can be held outside the mansion under a tent accommodating 100 people, or in their social hall that allows for 180 people. The beautiful gardens on site have lush greenery that make for a serene setting for your pictures. Up to 180 people. A preferred caterers list is available to ensure you hire those that are accustomed to working in their large commercial kitchen.
  • Cutler Gardens for ceremony + Broome County Farmer’s Market for reception : Binghamton, New York. Beautiful and well cared for gardens that anyone would love to stroll through. Get married under the gazebo surrounded by rose bushes for a dreamy setting. The regional farmer’s market is right next door and available as a reception location. A commercial kitchen is available for your preferred caterer to use. Can accommodate up to 250 people for both ceremony and reception.

  • Gabriella’s Manor: Greene, New York. Get married inside under their stunning chandeliers or outside on their manicured grounds. Numerous custom detail options are available (can you say, custom ice sculptures?!). Gourmet food and the option to utilize their incredible baker. They are able to accommodate up to 225 people in the ballroom and 75 on the deck. Food and bar in house.

The tented reception is nestled between large trees that give a magical feel. Chauffeured golf carts are available for guests convenience.  The main tent can accommodate up to 200 people with further rental options available for larger sizes. Three different catering options so you have a few choices without being overwhelmed with options.

  • Ross Park Zoo : Binghamton, New York. Of all the venues that will have your guests talking! Unique and exciting experience for all guests. Various rental options to suit different amounts of people. Can also privately rent the entire zoo out for a couple hours for an even more intimate experience. Up to 300. foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation. My apple ipad is now
destroyed and she has 83 views. I know this is entirely off

Howdy just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The words in your content seem to be running off the screen in Chrome. I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with browser compatibility but I thought I’d post to let you know. The design and style look great though! Hope you get the problem fixed soon. Many thanks

I have been wearing a wig for two days. It is easy to bring and very stable. The point is that it is very realistic. My friends didn’t even notice that I was wearing a wig. I was quite satisfied.

So many beautiful locations to choose from Broome county area! Thanks for sharing all of these!
